Jeni and Grant ~ Sneak Peek

Jeni and Grant are from the Murfreesboro area and fell in love with Chattanooga after their first visit a few years ago.The downtown walking bridge area is sentimental to them, they’ve always loved the view! Unfortunately the walking bridge was closed but we had plenty of other areas around to get some good shots. I’m thrilled to be photographing their wedding next month in the Art District…see you two very soon!

Here’s just a few from last Friday’s engagement session.

Ruby’s sister needs a home

If anyone should be interested in a cute little pug mix puppy call Lucious at 423.753.8077. Here’s a picture of Ruby, her sis looks just like her!

I’ll be posting pictures from Townsend and a fun engagement session soon!

Escape to the mountains

In keeping with the promise to myself to do something just for me once per week, how about a weekend getaway with my sweet husband? Will that do?! Eric and I will be heading to Townsend, Tennessee tonight for a little weekend getaway for two. We were planning on going last weekend but ended up getting sick so we postponed it until this weekend. There will be pictures posted of course! We are staying at at a Townsend View cabin, check them out at www.townsendviewcabinrentals.com. If you want to plan a trip soon call Sheri, she will help you out in choosing the perfect cabin for you! Sheri at Townsend View Cabins 865.448.8822.

We photographed Jewel and Matt’s wedding last June and I’m super excited to return to such a beautiful place. Here’s one shot of our last trip up there….more coming soon!

Who’s your Daddy?

Well if you are asking Madyson this question it’s undoubtedly Eric Campbell. Especially when comparing his baby pictures with hers. I really think it’s nice when people say how much Madyson looks like me….to which I reply, “Thanks so much, but you obviously haven’t met her father!”

I scanned in hundreds of old family photos years ago just to preserve them. Here’s a few I thought were funny but cute all at the same time. About the one of me on the top left….I was homeschooled until 2nd grade and my mom thought it was totally acceptable to let us wear leotards to school, she’s awesome! About the middle image of Eric, I’ll have to ask him the story behind that big scratch on his chin. He just looks like he’s going to get into something, you bad little boy! You can be the judge of who she looks like, check out these photos below (:

Last night after our bath Madyson asked if I would curl her hair and make it look like Farrah’s…..

Ok she didn’t actually say she wanted it to look like Farrah’s but that’s how it turned out! I’m not sure if this face means she likes it or hates it, but she sure does love any kind of chapstick! (shown in her right hand)

Fork and Gavel Auction

My dear friend Tobi Weldon contacted me about this year’s fundraiser benefiting the Normal Park Museum Magnet. They host this fundraising gala every year and each year seems to be bigger than the last. As a big a supporter of this school and everything they do for their students and our community, I was happy to donate a session. You can learn more about Normal Park by visiting their website http://www.normalpark.com/. Bidding has already begun at ForkandGavel.com. Be sure to check our donation as well as the other stuff up for grabs….there’s some wonderful things up for auction this year!

Spooky snow

Is it the last day Chattanooga will see snow or what? I think this might be the 3rd or 4th time this year we had beautiful snowfall. Although it’s nice to look at for a minute, I’ll be glad to see the flowers start to bloom and the grass turn green. I thought this might be the last time I see snow this winter so I snuck outside early this morning to get a few shots. Madyson was at school so she didn’t get to play in it. By the time she returned home this evening with her Daddy, the snow was all melted. Hopefully they let them play in it at school (:

I didn’t know until just a few minutes ago how scary these pictures look….spooky!

Look at this left image, the snowflakes were so big they look like two monster eyes looking back at me!! I think I’ve definitely been watching too much Monster’s Inc. with Madyson.

Stunning brides

Considering a bridal session? Check out these lovely ladies and their take on the subject.

So tell me how you really feel?

This picture of Madyson perfectly displays my feelings about posting today, BLAH! I think we all have a little cold or something of the like, the Campbell house is down and out. I’m sure I’ll feel better about things after a nap….I love Sunday naps (:

Madyson was 7 months old in this photo. Not the most beautifully executed image with her hand looking a little crooked, but look at that expression! I’ve always laughed when I come across this image, hope you do too.

Cousins

Madyson’s cousins Ally and Cooper came for a quick visit today while their new carpet was getting installed in their house. Unfortunately we didn’t get any pictures with Madyson because she was already napping, but I’ll try next time for sure. I’ve photographed these two since they were born and it’s crazy what beautiful little people they have turned into.

Raindrop plop

As tired as you might think I would be of reading the same books over and over every night, it’s actually so fun because Madyson finishes the sentences in certain books. No, she’s not reading yet but she certainly has her favorite books memorized! She’s particularly good a finishing the sentences in Lullaby Little One and Raindrop Plop. There aren’t many words in Good night Gorilla, but we love that one too. I took these a few weeks ago one morning and forgot about them until I stumbled upon them today….sure am glad I did, enjoy!
