Here are the details friends!

Tomorrow we will announce the 10 winning couples for the engagement sessions randomly drawn from over 150 bridal show entries! These sessions will take place (tentatively) on February 28, 2009 from 10am until 3pm. Later once the winners are contacted we will determine where the sessions will take place. We will spend 20 minutes together taking some fun shots of you and your fiance. Two weeks after our session you will receive an email with a link to your very own online slideshow. You will have your choice of one of the slideshow proofs for your 11×14 print. There are no obligations after that, it’s just the perfect chance for us to get to know each other while getting some great shots at the same time!

Make sure that you check your email and/or voicemail to see if you are a winner….and Congratulations!

And because a blog post is much more fun with a photo, here’s an engagement session favorite….can you feel the love?!

Chattanooga Premier Bridal Show ~ January 25, 2009

We had fabulous time speaking with all of you wonderful brides this past Sunday. We will be posting the details and winners of the engagement session by the end of this week, there were over 150 entries~WOW!  I look forward to meeting up with several of you over the next few weeks!

I have to thank my awesome husband, Eric for the concept of our gallery style booth and the construction of his awesome vision. Thanks to the wonderful people who allowed me to display their photos. (I feel like this is the Oscars or something!) Also thanks so much to Adam, Olivia, Toby, Lauren and John we couldn’t have done this without you! Also, let’s not forget the amazingly talented Steve Hamaker at Southside Creative Group for designing my new logo.

To all the brides that I got a chance to give some detailed information to, do not forget that if you book your wedding with us by Valentine’s Day you will receive the Memory Box as a gift! Thanks to everyone who stopped by our gallery, we really enjoyed speaking with you.

The Donaldson family session at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church

I love it when a family sets aside some time to spend together getting photographed. It gives me a chance to capture the sweet spirit of a family and how they interact. Last weekend I met up with the Donaldson family on Lookout Mountain and they were so much fun!. The baby of the family, Lucy, was getting baptised the next day and lots of extended family was in town for the occasion. Thanks Joel and Kathleen for having me out, it was such a pleasure to meet your family!

Here are a few sneak peeks, your slideshow will not be far behind!

The expression on Lucy’s face is priceless!

Kathleen looked stunning in this beautiful moss green top….Lucy was cute too of course (:

Imaging USA….Phoenix, Arizona

We are back! We have been in Phoenix, AZ for the past 6 days taking in the fabulous warm sun and attending Imaging USA hosted by PPA (Professional Photographers of America). This was our first conference to attend and hope to go to many more in the future. It helps us as photographers learn from the best and see the latest services and products to help serve you, our clients better! While we were out west we got to meet some awesome people (including photographers!) and see some crazy beautiful sights. Eric and I had a great trip but missed Madyson very much. Her Honey had her while we were gone, what will you do without her at your house Honey?!

To new brides: If you are searching for a photographer and have come across this post, make sure that whoever you choose for your event is a member of an accredited photographers association….you can search for photographers through PPA by clicking HERE
He likes to contemplate about the world (:
Phoenix sunrise….I love how the sun barely kisses the red flowers in the bottom half of this image to warm them up a bit…I think they like it.
One day we drove on the Apache Trail and passed the Superstition Mountains….spooky!
We went to hear the amazing stories told by Tim Terry, a native from the Pima tribe. If you ever visit Phoenix, go to the Wildhorse Pass resort at 6pm, he will be there to entertain you by the fire!
He makes his stories intimately connect to his listeners and it provided a most spiritual experience for us.
Self portrait on our way out of Wildhorse Pass….the building artwork on the ceiling is AMAZING!
So my friend Amanda Shea says….this is a black chinned hummingbird (:
What I find to be the most amazing thing about the Southwest is orange and lemon trees! People in Phoenix must think it’s no big deal to have one growing next to your house…..but you guys have fresh citrus growing within walking distance!!

It was warm and sunny the entire time we were there and it was hard to come back to Chattanooga to such cold weather. Thanks Phoenix, we had a great time!
