Danial and Lindsay’s Engagement Session

Danial says that he had to introduce himself to Lindsay three times before she remembered who he was….but by the way he makes her laugh, I imagine she noticed him long before she let on! I was lucky enough to spend an hour with these two yesterday at Renaissance Park. I can feel the love in their hearts when they look at each other, it’s wonderful to be around them together! Thanks guys for driving all the way from Kennesaw to meet me, it was a real treat (:

I simply cannot wait until your November wedding! Enjoy your sneak peek….

Lindsay’s smile is infectious! I told you Danial made her smile a lot (:

Easter Mini Sessions ~ Heritage Park Chattanooga, Tennessee

This past Sunday was a blast! From my previous post about this year’s Easter mini sessions, we met up with 18 families throughout the day at Heritage Park located in East Brainerd….slightly more than expected but definitely more than welcome to join the party!

Eric went with me early to set up our fun props, thanks baby. Cindy and Rich were there from Noah’s Little Ark to provide the bunnies, ducklings and chicks. Not only were they there with their precious animals, but most of the day consisted of Cindy bending over backwards to help me {move, place, remove from tight grasps, pick up, wipe up} everything to do with the baby animals.  Cindy really had her work cut out for her, but she was there every step of the way for us. Oh and let’s not forget Heather….all I had to say was a little something about baby ducks and children’s photos and she was in it to win it! Thanks to all of you, friends, clients, parents, grandparents, handlers, bunnies, duckies and chicks….we couldn’t have had this fabulous day without you!

If anyone is interested in booking a small or large zoo for your next church get together, birthday party or other event contact Cindy at 423.321.2073 or info@noahslittleark.net….you will love working with them!

I had to go ahead and start this off right by posting one of Mady first….probably the only decent one that I snapped of her that day! I posted this just to make several of you feel better because your child wasn’t the only one who could care less about playing with the bunnies and ducks OR have their picture taken!

I loved how each of the kids’ different personalities came out when you have a camera pointing at them plus you throw in live animals! Some liked them more than others, but no matter what I am still very happy with the results. Without further adieu, here are your sneak peeks as promised…btw, this will be a looooooong post (:

The West family ~ Heritage Park March 21, 2009

I met up with the West family this past Saturday at Heritage Park in East Brainerd, what an awesome family! Here’s the lineup of introductions from Dad to the youngest family member: Alex, Stephanie, Elijah, Makayla, and Micah. Although they look like hired models they aren’t! They are the spectacular family nominated after my Giving is Awesome blog post by their friend, Michelle Thompson. I love this family. They are sweet, genuine and above all, very thankful for each other.

Enjoy your sneak peek below, more to come soon!

I love this look between Alex and Stephanie….as if they are oblivious of the fun madness behind them!

Ryan and Casey ~ Engagement session March 21, 2009

Casey and I were introduced long ago by our mutual friend Christen. I always knew her as a fun girl with a bubbly personality. As long as I have known Casey she was in school! Even though she had a never ending schedule of classes, tests and papers she was always in good spirits. She had a goal in mind to get her master’s in psychology and that’s exactly what she did.  Well good things to come to those who study! She met Ryan who had the same goal. After a lot of studying, many hours logged in the library and two master’s degrees, they are finally getting married!

Ryan and Casey compliment each other so well. Ryan seems to be a calm, cool and collected soul, while Casey has enough sweetness and energy for the both of them! I am very much looking forward to your wedding this September, enjoy this sneak peek of your engagement session!

Scott and Allison March 14, 2009 ~ First Cumberland Presbyterian Church

Last Saturday my friend Heather asked me to photograph a wedding with her for some close friends of hers and of course I couldn’t say no! I met Scott a few years ago, but it was the first time I had ever met Allison….boy I have missed out on getting to know an awesome girl! I love the look of sincere love on her face as she looks at Scott. He also returns the look with one of complete adoration for his wife.

Their wedding was classic and beautiful. The ceremony was held at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Chattanooga and the reception at The Chattanoogan Hotel.

Congratulations Scott and Allison! I hope you are having a fabulous time on your honeymoon in Vegas!

Heather will have your complete slideshow up later, but here are a few sneak peeks of my take on the day (:

Ava and Abigail ~ Newborn Photography Chattanooga, Tennessee

I visited Deana and Louis’ home Wednesday to grab a few shots of their precious twin daughters, Ava and Abigail. Deana is the most chilled out mother of twins I have ever met! The girls were very sweet even at 6 weeks of age, but with twins they are bound to need something sooner than later. She handled every single one of their needs with a calm, loving presence. I soaked up as much of her patience as I could before I hurried home to my very busy 18 month old Madyson! Thanks for having me in your home, I had a great morning with you all. Here is a sneak peek of your beautiful girls.

Abigail is at the top and on the right, Ava is on the bottom and left (:

After I shared with Deana the best advice anyone ever told me as a new mother, the girls must have had enough of me and went straight to sleep together! If you are a new mom or soon to be, check out The Happiest Baby on the Blockat www.happiestbaby.com. It’s your survival for the first few months!
