Congratulations Justin and Blair!

Justin and Blair were married last Saturday the 19th at Lookout Mountain Fairyland Club. It happened to be right in the middle of Chattanooga’s soggiest month this year too! The weather did not put a damper on anyone’s mood. In fact, Justin and Blair were as happy and calm as any bride and groom could be. Their two sons Harper and John-Thomas joined the party half-way through the day and were two of the most well behaved escorts I have ever seen! They even helped the wedding coordinator, Olivia put out the rose petals in the isle where the ceremony would be held.

Justin and Blair chose some of the most delicious and unique wedding reception food. Fairland outdid themselves on the food with sushi, filet and even a Mediterranean style appetizer area for the guests to snack on while the room was being changed over. The couple ended the night at the Reed House, hope you guys had a wonderful, relazing time!

Thank you so much for having me  be part of your special day, I have enjoyed getting to know you both and your family emincely. Also, thanks to Heather Williams who photographed with me and all the other fabulous vendors!

Blair you are elegantly beautiful and timeless.

Blair and Justin opted to see each other prior to the ceremony so that we would have plenty of time for photos of them together.

Justin, I think your eyes are supposed to be closed, but I don’t blame you for not wanting to take them off of her!!

Keller Williams Realty Chattanooga, Tennessee

A had the chance to meet up with two fabulous ladies of the downtown Chattanooga location of Keller Williams. We went to the Bluff View Art District for some fun headshots. I think any time you can add personability to a process like buying or selling a home then it gives people a way to relate to their guide (or realtor) through the process. That’s why I love photographing these ladies, they are dedicated to making their clients happy!

Thanks ladies!

The fabulous Caroline Outlaw…

The beautiful Elizabeth Moyer….

Russ and Laura

I love a wedding with a theme and the theme for Russ and Laura’s wedding is bringing the outdoors in. Naturally we had to choose a session location that was scenic and pretty, so we choose Signal Mountain for their engagement session.

This was the first time that I had met Russ and he’s just how Laura described him….laid back, down to earth and handsome of course! The thing that I love about Russ and Laura is their quiet guestures of love for one another. They seem like two people that have been best friends for years and years.

For two people that said the camera wasn’t their friend, they really brought IT for this photo session! Serious attitude that is! I really enjoyed hanging out with you guys and Simon too (Laura’s cousin tagged along), I had a great time. Can’t wait for the wedding in November.

Enjoy your slideshow HERE!

A few favs….

So serious and so fabulouus all at the same time…

Love those boots girl!

Laura, how’s the sign now?  (:

Happy birthday Madyson

My baby is two today! Yes, she is still MY baby. She really is more baby than big girl, oh how I love this age. Eric and I were talking this morning and it seemed like we were just looking for a house to buy when we found out we were going to be blessed with this child. I had no idea the love and joy this sweet girl would bring. I think this slideshow sums up just that…..here’s some highlights of the past two years  (HERE).

I had to post something quick because after a fun 2 year old party it’s time for mom to crash….here’s one of my fav’s as I scanned through the old archived hard drive. She was 13 weeks old in these photos, and oh what personalit already!

Jay and Angie married at Barnsley Gardens

I had the fortunate experience of getting to photograph Jay and Angie’s wedding at one of the most beautiful locations for a wedding. They were married at Barnsley Gardens in Adairsville, Georgia and I seriously can’t say enough great things about this venue! Upon our arrival we were greeted by two lovely ladies in the front reception area while we tried our best to pick our chins up off the floor! Next, Sam got us settled in our room and took us for an unofficial tour around the grounds. In case you aren’t familiar with Barnsley Gardens is a unique property that holds about 37 cabins on pristine land groomed to perfection. It’swere the Georgia Open has been held so needless to say the landscaping is impeccable! We all had dinner at the Woodlands Grill, a fabulous restaurant on site. After dinner we went back to our cabin to get some much needed rest for the evening.

The next morning we woke to a bit of rain and Angie was a little worried about this situation. I assured her that it would be gone by the time we start photographing outside and sure enough it did. The sun came out about an hour before we needed it to and dried up the ground a bit. We headed over to the ruins on site for Angie and Jay to see each other for the first time. They opted to see each other prior to the ceremony so that we would have plenty of time to roam around the property because there were too many photo opportunities to count! The ceremony was beautiful and they were surrounded by their closest family and friends as they dedicated themselves to each other.

Beth was Angie’s event coordinator and she and her amazing team made sure that everything was perfect for their day. Shane from Life Productions was on hand to make sure that all the special moments were documented on video (thanks for the awesome lighting shane!). Angie said that it was exactly as she imagined it to be and it doesn’t get any better than that! Thanks to everyone at Barnsley Gardens for making Jay and Angie’s day so special and for pampering us with the best service I have ever experienced. And of course, thank you Jay and Angie for having me there. Congratulations and best wishes!

Here’s a sneak peek slideshow (HERE) followed by a few of my favorites, enjoy!

Gotta love some red shoes!

My favorite from the day (:
