Congratulations Will and Cindy!

As I said in my previous post, this amazing couple was married last Saturday at a private farm in Georgia. I can’t think of a more perfect fall wedding reception location than one that provides a colorful backdrop like this farm!

I met Cindy at the Bridal Show this past January and it was love at first sight (Cindy you love my humor I know it!). I thought she was the sweetest girl with the warmest personality and a ‘light up the room’ smile to match. Once I met her fiance Will, I knew they were the perfect match. Will is warm and kind as well and he shows his love for Cindy in the simplest, yet amazingly big ways.

Will and Cindy, your family and friends were extremely kind to us, we were treated as if we were your guests and that speaks volumes about the kind of people you guys are……you are my kind of people! Thanks again and I hope you are soaking up the sun in style in the Dominican Republic!

Thanks to all the vendors of the day:

Cake: Richard’s Restaurant Ringgold, GA

Florist: Melissa Tinker

DJ: Tom Wiley

Make-up Candace Johnson

Hair: Leigh King

Catering: LeAnn Blocker

Here’s your sneak peek slideshow HERE.

As usual, my favorites from the day….

That’s Will’s hand slipping on Cindy’s more comfy shoes….told you he does the sweetest things (:

Will and Cindy chose to see each other prior to the ceremony which left plenty of time to get all of the shots that they wanted….including this sweet one I never would have wanted to miss.

Congratulations Jimmy and Megan!

This past weekend we traveled to The Beach Club in Gulf Shores, AL to photograph the wedding of Jimmy and Megan. I met these two fabulous people earlier this year and after at least 9 months of planning we finally came together! It quite possibly was the windiest day I have ever experienced. Period. White quite possibly the most beautiful day as well. Megan and Jimmy’s families were AMAZING to say the least. The support that you guys showed to this couple was unique and we enjoyed seeing the love that you had for them. We even received some help from her stepdad John and her brother Jeff in transporting her dress for detailed shots, thanks again guys!

Jimmy and Megan, it was an honor being part of your wedding, I am truly thankful for the opportunity to spend the weekend with you and your family as we celebrated your marriage. I love you guys!

Enjoy your slideshow HERE.

A few favorites from the day….

Megan you are simply stunning.

I told you it was windy! Heather grabbed this shot on the way to the reception (:

Day at the park

You know I would have been in these photos if I could but I only brought an 85mm lens (too close for self portraits!) so this post features Madyson. We spent the day in the park today after a long weekend away from home. We ran over to Wiggle Worm to buy a hat because it was a little colder than I expected, then we headed over to Coolidge to ride the carousel….what a wonderful way to experience a cool,  fall day (:

She’s growing up so fast, as I knew that she would. In the past two years, countless people would mention, “Enjoy her while she’s little, she will grow up so fast!”….Now after two whole years of being her Mommy, I know exactly what they are talking about. Madyson is many things….inquisitive, sweet and compassionate, quirky, smart, loud, and most of all happy….and of course she’s still my baby.

Holiday sessions 2009 sneak peek!

This past Saturday I met up with several families and couples for our Holiday Mini Sessions at an old office warehouse on E. Main Street. The light in the room was spectacular and added the neatest, rustic backdrop to the photos. Check out these samples below, seriously, was this a fashion shoot or holiday sessions?!

This building that we were so fortunate to use will be soon be transformed into the Clearstory. There will be several lofts or units for residential and commercial purchase. It’s amazing what they are going to be doing to this building, especially all the environmentally aware amenities! Check out their website for more details!

Thanks to all of you who met with us this day, enjoy this sneak peek (:

In random order….

An evening in the park with Alexander

This little guy was so much fun! We started the session with a scooter ride then moved onto talking about all the dinosaurs that Alexander knew….he could tell me what all of them ate as well! I hadn’t even heard of some of the dinos that he was talking about! He was actually ok with the picture taking that went on with the playing and talking. Although there was some bubble gum bribery going on to make him even more into it.

Thanks Alexander’s Mom and Dad for tagging along for 5 year old crowd control, your son is smart, handsome and fun to be around!

This is one of Alexander’s really good friends that decided to tag along for our session….

I think this series sums up this sweet little guy in a nutshell!

Baby Lucas

Lucas and his family just moved to Chattanooga and although they had to part ways with their previous photographer, I was more than happy to fill the position! This sweet little guy is just 8 months and full of laughs! We had a great time with his mom and his Mimi. They were great at making him smile.

I can’t get enough of these blue eyes!
