I met these two sweeties a few weeks ago, get a load of their beautiful eyes, let alone faces! The expressions that Presleigh (the youngest) can make are priceless, while the playful smiles of her older sis Maci melt your heart. Their Mom, Meghan (yes spelled the same!), said that she wanted images that reflected how fun they were, not how perfectly pretty they could sit. Well I certainly think that we accomplished the fun part, plus they look pretty (:

This is a face of confusion. I think she was confused at my famous animal noises. Not all of them sound like the animals they actually are!

I sure do love these two precious people! I’ve known Bobby and Zanna for over a year now and I have loved every minute I’ve shared with them. Finally seeing them married was such a treat! Throw in a supportive family showering them with love and you have a truly perfect wedding day. Zanna was a little nervous at first with the looming clouds above waiting to rain on her parade…..ehem, wedding. However, it only sprinkled a little and the day turned out to be lovely.

Thank you Carlson and Wright families for your kind words and generosity, it was a pleasure spending the day with all of you. Bobby and Zanna I hope you have a great time in Mexico!

The door at Patten Chapel is a perfect spot when the couple chooses the tradition of not seeing each other before the ceremony, it’s so tempting to look I’m sure!

I have to give a special shout out to Brittany of Moncrief Photographyfor managing to get all three of these shots within seconds of each other, woowhoo!

After stepping off the trolly at the Read House we had a few minutes for some extra sweet images of just the two of them.

WARNING: Entering cheesy comment! This is a cake made by Sweet Angel Cakes but sent straight from heaven! Come on you would say it if you had the chance!

That’s why my sweet little girl yelled as she chased her friend Foy around my front yard. As you can see she caught him in the end! Foy’s a pretty cool little guy and he and Madyson love hanging out together. On this particular day, I don’t recall anything special that she or he did to warrant chasing for a hug. I guess she just needed a little love!

Although not in focus, it’s precious in all it’s imperfections.

She got her hug and she was pretty happy about it.

Her little feet are always moving…..typically away from me!

I don’t think he was that amused with my efforts in trying to get him to look at me…..come on my life-like animal noises are hilarious!

Introducing…..Jordan and Meghan! I met Meghan at Allison and Tyler’s wedding in 2008 and I’m so happy she kept up with me since then and chose me to photograph her own wedding. Meghan and Jordan are getting married in September this year and I’m ecstatic to say the least. Judging by the smiles in all of their pictures, they are pretty happy about it too! I love happy, smiley couples and these two definitely fit the bill.

Congratulations on your engagement, can’t wait until September!

Last Saturday was a perfect day to start out our 2010 wedding season and what two better people to spend it with than Grant and Jeni. They were married at the Bluff View Art District among 25 of their closest family and friends. Amanda from Devine Designshandled her florals, Hair A  Go-Go did Jeni’s hair and makeup and the Art District took care of the rest. It was wonderful to meet your families and share in your wedding day….Congratulations and best wishes!

I loved that Jeni and Grant chose to marry under the Atmosanctum. I loved the flowers that Jeni picked out. I loved the precious program that Jeni made for her guests…..I loved it all!

Hey Miss Sassy!

Not only is she a fabulous photographer, but Joanna Ivey also is handy with a sewing machine!  I visited her home when we met right before her and Tim’s photo session, and after seeing a few samples at her work I had to have one.  She was super sweet and let me special order a larger version and the end result (as you can see) is pure perfection…..thanks Joanna!

It seems like almost  a year since I met Justin and Ashton….wait it has been nearly a year! From the first time I met you guys I was just comfortable being around you. You love being around each other and there’s no hiding that! There’s an ease about the two of you that’s enjoyable to be around. It was no surprise to me that you would be fun during your engagement session!

It’s been wonderful getting to know you both over all this time and I’m delighted to be photographing your wedding next month. Thanks for trusting me to document such an important time in your lives, I’m excited about what the future holds for you both.

There’s no hiding my love for the fabulous makeup artists at MAC (Makeup Art Cosmetics for those not privy to the lingo) at Belk Hamilton Place. Meet me once and within 10-15 minutes we will likely be talking about their makeup skills! Well this Saturday they are hosting a Studio Talk event. It’s an exclusive get-together in a private room for a few lucky clients, complete with a full makeup lesson on the latest Summer makeup trends. The class will be taught by celebrity makeup artist, Laura Leatherwood. She’s participated in New York fashion week, Miami fashion week and countless other fashion makeup events. There will be several artists on hand to assist you in perfecting your new Summer look. What a perfect excuse for a girls afternoon out!
