Oh dear, where do I begin with this one?! First, Melissa has been dreaming about being “blogged” for a while and she confessed the other day at our session, so I’m making this happen to fulfill her wildest dreams….I hope I can deliver on the hype Melissa!

I first met Melissa at the MAC make-up counter years ago through a great, mutual friend, Olivia. I photographed her and her sisters the same year I purchased my first digital camera….this was like 2006 people, she really had some faith in me and I appreciate that Mel! Almost 6 years later, I feel like my little sister is getting married,,,,cue the awwwwwww!

Melissa and Ben will be married this coming New Year’s Eve in Savannah, Georgia and Eric and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be photographing it. Come on New Year’s, we can’t wait!!

We met one sunny afternoon a few weeks ago at Fairyland Club on Lookout Mountain with Whitney’s daughter Kailey and Brady an although the session was sort of short these three rocked it out! Brady and Whitney are getting married this coming January and we are thrilled to be a part of it. See you guys very soon!

I’ve been looking forward to Taylor and Justin’s engagement session for over 6 months now,,,,oh how I love an advance planning bride! We met a few weeks ago at the VW Nature Park on a beautiful sunny afternoon. I’m so happy the weather was nice for you guys, Taylor really wanted pretty, sunny pictures and I think we got that!

Looking forward to June 2012!

Lindsey was sent to me by her own sweet mother, Jenny, who I have know for several years now….they are precious, precious people and I’m thrilled to be photographing Lindsey and Jonathan’s wedding October 2012!

Lindsey grew up on Graham street in Chattanooga so we thought no place was more appropriate. We stopped off on random house fronts, including the one she and Jonathan used to live in and one that Jenny still owns.

Abby must know lots of people, she’s always at a wedding in which we are the photographers!  I love it, because she’s got the inside scoop on how we work. Obviously she liked what she saw because I’ll be photographing their wedding next week! I think we first met at Hollie and Chris’ wedding in 2009…so technically I have Hollie to thank for this referral.

I’m thrilled for you both, Tony and Abby, and I’m excited to meet your families in just 8 short days, see you soon!

I first met Natalie and her sweet Mom, Karen at a small anti-bridal show called This Ain’t Your Mama’s Wedding + Party Expo. She actually won this engagement session with a door prize drawing and I’m thrilled she chose us as her wedding photographers too!

Natalie and Andrew have been dating for years, but Andrew is in the Army and was called away for duty the majority of their relationship. I can’t imagine how hard it has been on them, but Andrew is finally home! They had only been back together in the same city for a few weeks when we met for this  session at Walnut Hill Farms so you should be able to feel the love!

Thanks so much for allowing me to document this special time in your lives. You two are beautiful, inside and out, and I can’t wait for your wedding next May!

You know you’re in for a fun session when someone brings a boat! I first met Megan when she was a bridesmaid in Hollie and Chris’ wedding in 2009. Fast forward two years….enter Kyle. She described him as everything she ever wanted. They  just get each other and it totally works!

Megan wanted to do a little something different for their engagement session and Kyle’s boat for wake boarding was the perfect thing! With the threat of rain the entire evening, it really almost seemed like our plans were going to be washed out. Right at the last moment, Kyle pulled up on their boat and the clouds parted to a beautiful, sunny afternoon. Perfection.

Thanks for sharing your fun-loving selves with us on this day! We enjoyed getting to know you both and can’t wait for the wedding next June!

The conversation started like this….Beth, “Would it even be possible to have you come photograph our engagement session on the beach?”   Me, “Ummmm, yes, when do we leave?!” Eric and I spent July 4th weekend in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina and met Beau and Beth on a sensationally beautiful evening to photograph their session. Everything about this little beachside town screamed ‘take a picture of me’….particularly at sunset! We started off in a golf community called Sea Trail, headed towards the beach second then ended at a lovely landscaped park right off the causeway into the island. Beth I know you grew up vacationing here, but you couldn’t have chosen a better spot for you and Beau for your session. You two were so comfortable with each other and in front of the camera and we enjoyed you both immensely. Thank you again for bringing us to this amazing place.

We are most certainly looking forward to your wedding this November!

I was introduced to Heather by Jen Camicia (now Myers!) who was married this past February and I can’t thank her enough! Heather and Tom have such fun-loving personalities and it’s infectious when you’re around them. When I was able to capture a few serious moments, rolling laughter immediately followed! We met on most gloriously beautiful day last week and started our session at the Delta Queen. It’s a sentimental spot for me and Eric because that boat cruised up and down the Mississippi River near Natchez, Mississippi where we met. With that being said, it was great to share it with Tom and Heather! We finished up the session in Coolidge Park.

We are looking forward to your October wedding with much excitement!
