Escape to the mountains
In keeping with the promise to myself to do something just for me once per week, how about a weekend getaway with my sweet husband? Will that do?! Eric and I will be heading to Townsend, Tennessee tonight for a little weekend getaway for two. We were planning on going last weekend but ended up getting sick so we postponed it until this weekend. I got beard Mommy!
I left Madyson at the kitchen table with markers, nothing untypical really. She knows the rules and regularly says, “Only on the paper!” But this time she got a little adventerous. Maybe she saw her Papaw or someone with a beard recently and thought it would be a nice addition to her cute little round face. I was only gone from her site for about a minute. Upon my return she gasp as I turned the corner, in shock that she had been caught. Not in shock in a bad way. OH NO. She was happy! That little devil smiled at me and said, “I got beard Mommy!!”
What kind of mother would I be to wash it off before we got pictures?! It was washable marker anyways, but still tough to get off (:
