Tony & Abby – Married

I’ve known Abby for several years since her friend Hollie got married, so technically I have Hollie to thank for the introduction! Tony and Abby were married at Abby’s sweet Mom’s house at an intimate ceremony with close family and friends. The ceremony was actually officiated by Hollie’s Dad, go figure! These two are an 11.11.11 couple, who say that they actually didn’t even think about it begin 11.11.11, sure you didn’t! Totally kidding, I believe them (:

Congratulations to you both, we are thrilled to have been there to document the start of your marriage!

Abby Stephens - Meghan, the pictures are wonderful and everyone who has seen the slideshow has gone on and on about how wonderful it is. Most people have cried watching it. :-) Happy tears of course. Thank you all so much for being a part of our special day. We couldn’t have ask for anything more from you all. Love ya.

Beau & Beth – Married Beau & Beth – Married

What a special day Beth and Beau and how proud we were to be a part of it! The day started out at Level 10 Salon with the girls, followed by meeting up with the guys at Beth’s home church, St. Timothy Episcopal Church. After a beautiful ceremony with friends and family, the party moved to the Sheraton Read House to celebrate these two in grand fashion.

Tina Player with TP Events did a great job keeping everything running smoothy. We were thrilled to work with Laurel Powell with her floral design company, Poppy….the flowers looked amazing Laurel! The Infinity Show Band was absolutely amazing and they kept everyone dancing until the very end.

Congratulations Beth and Beau, we’ve enjoyed getting to know you two over the past year. You are near and dear to us and we thank you for choosing us to be a small part of your wedding day!

Meg - Thank you Chelsea!!

Luke & Alexis – Married

Luke and Alexis were married last weekend at their home church in Crossville, Tennessee. It’s our second visit to Crossville this year because Luke’s sister, Lynsey, was married last month and we had the honor of photographing both weddings!

It was a tiny bit chilly the morning of the wedding, but the weather was just perfect for all our pre-ceremony photos. Some of my favorites from the day Eric captured of Alexis and her Dad right before walking down the isle, I love the emotion! Also, thanks to Lynsey and Chad for helping with Luke and Alexis’ portraits afterwards, it was a little windy and they were the perfecting lighting assistants!

We’ve quickly grown very attached to both families and we are thrilled that we were a small part of your wedding day….thank you all so much and we hope to see you again soon!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Myers (:

Ben & Melissa – Engaged

Oh dear, where do I begin with this one?! First, Melissa has been dreaming about being “blogged” for a while and she confessed the other day at our session, so I’m making this happen to fulfill her wildest dreams….I hope I can deliver on the hype Melissa!

I first met Melissa at the MAC make-up counter years ago through a great, mutual friend, Olivia. I photographed her and her sisters the same year I purchased my first digital camera….this was like 2006 people, she really had some faith in me and I appreciate that Mel! Almost 6 years later, I feel like my little sister is getting married,,,,cue the awwwwwww!

Melissa and Ben will be married this coming New Year’s Eve in Savannah, Georgia and Eric and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be photographing it. Come on New Year’s, we can’t wait!!

Tom & Heather – Mr. and Mrs. taking the plunge

Oh come on, I had to name it that! They figuratlvely and literally took the plunge after their wedding on October 22nd…..Tom and Heather had the crazy idea to jump into the freezing cold water the North Chickamauga Creek blue holes…..so who am I to deny them their photo receiving rights?! Let it be known that it was actually their idea, I would technically never suggest that someone jump into this cold of water, but really who want’s to wait until next summer when you have a good idea?!

I’m sure her bridal shop, Monica’s Bridal, and the dress maker would pass out after seeing what she’s done to her dress….my theory, it will wash out (:

Thank you Tobi with her amazing company, Ivey Handcrafted for providing Heather’s felt bouquet and cute little “Love” banner….you’re the greatest!

Take a look…..

I don’t think any single person (unless they have done this before) can comprehend how cold this water is. Even in the summer it’s VERY cold, in November, probably less than 40 degrees!

My favorite of the day (:

Note the happy look on her face is not because the water is warm and inviting, I’m not sure how she pulled this look off!

I think she’s smiling because it’s almost over, hehe.

Heather - The pictures turned out amazing! As usual. :) We had so much fun!! I’m really glad we didn’t wait to do it when the weather was warmer because we wouldn’t have been able to get the beautiful Fall colors in the background! ♥
